“Among the organizations I am involved in on campus, BSU has been one that has truly impacted my college experience in a big way. Because I was invested in by other students in BSU as an entering Freshman, I have been able to see that being involved on campus is an awesome opportunity to make an impact on others. I was challenged to step out of my comfort zone, and over the past three years, I have been able to serve in leadership positions, travel to other countries, and invest in entering students just as I was poured into. My relationship with my Lord has been strengthened, I have made friendships that I will cherish forever, and my love for this University has only grown stronger. I know it probably sounds so cliche, but because I saw students making an impact through BSU, I was encouraged to invest into something greater than myself and I can honestly say that my years spent at Mississippi State have not been wasted.”
